Senator Adeola Yayi Donates N50m To CityBoy Movement

The Distinguished Lawmaker representing Ogun West Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator (Dr) Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, has supported the CityBoy Movement with a donation of N50m.
The Aremo of Yewaland, who is also the Okanlomo of Aworiland, made the donation in Abeokuta on Saturday 21st December, 2024, at the first Annual Youth Summit under the theme “Renewed Hope Agenda – A Concrete Foundation for A Prosperous Nigeria”.
The Senator, who was represented by Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose, the Director General of Broadcasting Organization of Nigeria, BON, a retired Permanent Secretary in Ogun State, specially expressed his gratitude to Mr. President for his courage at tackling the economic problems of Nigeria, the steps that have started yielding positive results.
Dr. Yemisi Bamgbose reminded the audience that the Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and the Chairman Senate Committee on Appropriation is a political son of our dear President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, the Commander-in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and that Aremo Adeola is synonymous with the Renewed Hope Agenda and equally a front-line family member in the desire of Mr. President at bringing this country back to the path of prosperity for all Nigerians.
Senator Adeola Yayi thanked the CityBoy Movement for the laudable programme of empowering the youths, which is part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He expressed his profound gratitude that the programme is being held in his home State, Ogun State, promising that he will use all he has to lift up and reposition the youths of Ogun State to greater heights.
To support the programme, the Distinguished Lawmaker, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, announced a donation of N50M, which received a thunderous ovation.
The epoch making event was graced by Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, the Executive of Ogun-State ably represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr.Toyin Taiwo, Members of the Ogun-State Executive Council, the Olofin of Ado-Odo, Mr. Seyi Tinubu, Grand Patron of CityBoy Movement, Mr. Tokunbo Olopade, the DG of the National Sports Commission and many other distinguished personalities
