The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola Yayi, has felicitated with all Muslims on the occasion of the Eid-el Maulud festival marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Mohammed.
In a message making the occasion, the Senator urged all Muslims and indeed other Nigerians to emulate the life and imbibe the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammed in the area of love, humility, peaceful living and religious tolerance adding that most of our societal challenges and problems will be greatly diminished if all adherents of the Islamic faith and indeed other Nigerians follow the teachings and precepts of Prophet Mohammed.
Senator Adeola urged Muslims to pray for peace and security in the trying and challenging times of Nigeria stressing that our national challenges require all hands to be on deck including supplication to Almighty Allah for divine intervention to crown our genuine labour with great harvest.
“In his lifetime, Prophet Mohammed set parameters and precept in all areas of life in his teachings and personal life. The world will be a better place for all if all can emulate the Holy Prophet examples of piousness, love humility, tolerance and sacrifice” he stated.
