As the Electoral Appeal Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded Anambra gubernatorial primary election, which was conducted across the 326 Political Wards of the 21 LGAs held on 26th June, 2021, winds off its assigned duties and submitted its reports to the National Secretariat yesterday, the Chairman of the Electoral Appeal Committee, His Excellency, Alhaji Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya (The Governor of Gombe State) said the Committee did a thorough job by listening to all complaints from contestants and Party Stakeholders who might be aggrieved with the outcome of the concluded Gubernatorial Primary election.
He said the Committee dusted all grievances from all quarters and was able to recommend that the process of electing the party’s candidate was seamless and should be binding to all the party faithfuls and stakeholders.
Receiving the report on behalf of the National Caretaker Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), the National Caretaker Secretary, Sen. John Akpan-Udoedehe, welcomed the report of the Committee and thanked them for being neutral and selfless in treating all complaints diligently.
Sen. Akpan-Udoedehe assured party stakeholders that all and sundry shall be accommodated and that APC cannot afford to lose this golden opportunity in its doorstep to clinch the Governorship seat of Anambra State come November 6th, 2021.
He thanked all contestants and party stakeholders for playing by the electoral guidelines of the party and urged all to support the party’s candidate Distinguished Senator Andy Uba (MFR), for progress and taking over of Agu-Awka.
