The lawmaker representing Imo West Senatorial District, Senator Osita Izunaso (OFR), attended the official unveiling of the Nigeria Reputation Management Group (NRMG), an initiative aimed at shaping and safeguarding Nigeria’s national image both locally and internationally.
The event, held in Abuja, brought together notable figures committed to enhancing Nigeria’s global standing. Key attendees included the Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, the Minister of Information, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, and former Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. The gathering underscored the importance of a unified approach in promoting Nigeria’s positive narrative.
Senator Osita Izunaso (OFR) expressed his support for the NRMG, emphasizing the need for a deliberate effort in shaping international perceptions of Nigeria. “We must be intentional in how we project our nation to the world, and the NRMG will play a crucial role in crafting that message,” he said.
