The Vice Chairman, Senate Committee On Appropriation, Senator (Princess) Stella Adaeze Oduah, OON, has congratulated the Bishop-Elect of Mbamili Diocese, Ven. Obiora Uzochukwu, on his elevation.
In her congratulatory message, Senator Oduah said, “I wish to congratulate our dear Venerable Obiora Uzochukwu, the Sub-Dean of All Saints Cathedral Onitsha, who has just recently been elected as the Bishop of Mbamili Diocese Anambra State, by the House of Bishops”.
“The fact remains that the reward for an excellent job is more work and this is particularly gratifying when we realize that he has spent the best part of his amazing life working assiduously in the Lord’s vineyard.”
“I also would like to thank Bishop Henry Okeke, whose translation to Ideato Diocese in Imo State, created the vacuum that has just been filled and pray for more success at his new station.”
“Once again I congratulate our beloved Bishop-Elect whilst praying for God’s continued wisdom and grace upon his life, family, ministry and the Mbamili Diocese, in Jesus name!” Senator Oduah concluded.
