The emergence of Senator Uche Ekwunife (Iyom) as the PDP Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District in the 2023 General Election is a piece of cheering news that elicited strong and wide jubilation among the people of the zone. This is so because she has performed exceedingly beyond expectations of the constituents and therefore deserves another term at the Senate in conformity with the popular phrase which says “One Good Turn Deserves Another”. Little wonder nobody tried to contest with her in the primary as she was returned unopposed.

As a matter of fact, Anambra Central Senatorial Zone has never had it so good in having a refined, pragmatic and tested technocrat in the person of *IFEKAOLAEDO* as their representative since the new Anambra was birthed in 1991. In the nearly *3 years* that *Adaugo Igboukwu* has spent so far in the *9th Senate* she has been able to redefine the concept of good governance and accountability in her constant engagements with members of her *Senatorial District*. Her quality representation has greatly affected even the commonest of people in her zone that *none could struggle* in pointing at one or two projects within their immediate community which she has remotely or directly influenced as a signature of her quality service delivery.

As the 2023 general election is fast approaching, Nigerian electorates are about to start witnessing the era of intense political activities in which a lot of politicians would suddenly remember the importance of common men in their constituencies. They will begin touring every nooks and crannies of the rural community as they attempt to bamboozle the people with untenable promises of what they will do for them if they are voted into their target political offices.

For the good people of *Anambra Central Senatorial Zone* the prospects of retaining *Iyom* beyond 2023 will certainly continue to transform their fortunes. They will finally become an object of envy like those whose palm-kernels were cracked for them by benevolent spirit.

Another legislative mission at the Senate for  *Senator Uche Ekwunife* will afford her opportunity to consolidate on her impressive legislative service towards improvement of all the necessary legal frameworks for the  sustenance of the Nigeria fledgling  democracy. In addition, her return to the Red Chamber will add impetus to the acceleration of her developmental drive which aims at spreading  sustainable development  across her Senatorial zone and beyond.

With re-election of *Senator Uche Ekwunife* into the Senate come 2023, the good people of *Anambra Central Senatorial Zone* will continue to beam with smile of relief and satisfaction.

*Congratulations Senator Uche Ekwunife for clinching the PDP ticket for 2023 Anambra Central Senatorial Election.* More success on the way!
