Senator Adeola Yayi To Commission Onisaga Palace On 18th December

 

All roads leads to Ishaga Orile for all sons and daughters of Ishaga worldwide on 18th December, 2022, as the All Progressives Congress, APC Senatorial candidate for Ogun West Senatorial District, Senator Solomon Adeola, the chairman of Senate Committee on Finance, commissions the new ultra modern palace of Onishaga of Ishaga, Ogun State.

The palace, which was started rudimentarily by the community over a decade was largely completed by the senator.

 

According to Dr. Prince Tunde Tella, Senator Adeola took over the construction when the community were already pressed down by the cost of building the big palace which is unique in the area in terms of size and outlays adding that the Senator did the plastering, tillings, painting, aluminum, plumbing, electrification, roofing, borehole and land scaping of the entire palace.

Prince Tella, the first son of the reigning monarch of Ishaga Orile, Oba Joseph Tella, the Onishaga of Ishaga Orile, stated that the Senator who is the Araba of Ancient Ishaga Kingdom, in addition to the palace development “brought transformer to the town and has also done free medical programme for the people of his homestead in Ishaga from”.

 

The commissioning ceremony, which concides with the celebration of Ishaga Day and the birthday of Oba Tella, will witness the gathering of all sons and daughters dispersed to several communities in South West and beyond
that occurred during the Dahomeean war of March 15, 1862 which virtually destroyed the famous Yoruba town.
