A 21-year old man, Emeka Onuoha has been arrested and charged before a Lagos court for allegedly snatching phones from some members of Synagogue Church of All Nations inside the church headquarters in Ikotun, Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Onuoha was among the suspected thieves who loiter around the church premises to commit various crimes and dispossessed unsuspecting members of their valuables.
Onuoha was arrested after he snatched a handset belonging to one of the worshipers, Nnadike Hilary while going into the church for service.
It was gathered that while he was trying to escape, some vigilant security men saw him and apprehended him.
While the phone was retrieved from him, he was handed over to the police at Ikotun division.
The suspect was arraigned before Magistrate court sitting in Ejigbo where he pleaded not guilty.
The presiding Magistrate, Mr Akeem Fashola granted him bail in the sum of N20,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 25 April 2017.
