All Set For Lagos Ride For Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat This Sunday

The much publicized and highly accepted ‘Lagos Ride For Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat is taking place this Sunday 3rd February, 2019, in the three Senatorial Districts in Lagos State, with Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere as point of convergence.

The event is being put together by a team of Lagos business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals from all walks of life who are volunteering and supporting the candidature of the All Progressive Congress gubernatorial team, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
In a press release on Friday February 1, 2019, the Senatorial Heads and Coordinators of Sanwo-Olu Hamzat Online & Outdoor Team (SHOOT) and BOSKOH Ladies, who are powering the event across the state, said that their target is achieving the biggest and most impacting political campaign in Lagos in this dispensation.

According to Hon Lanre Saidi, who is heading Lagos West Senatorial District, he said that the event has been oversubscribed and many have indicated interest to raise fleet and convoy of cars from different areas in support of the event.

In the same vein, Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, (Head, Lagos East Senatorial District and Vice Chairman – Ikorodu Local Government Area), said that they are fully prepared for the ride. She hinted that all the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and their supporters across the three senatorial districts have endorsed the event and indicated interest to be part of the epoch making ride.

According to Mr. Abiodun Fawunmi, (Head, Lagos Central), he said that they have three take-off points. He explained that participants from Lagos Central Senatorial District will be taking off from Lekki, Lagos West Senatorial District from Shoprite (Ikeja), while Lagos East Senatorial District will be taking off from Ikorodu.

In his statement, the Head of the ‘Lagos Ride for Sanwo-Olu/Hamzat’ initiative, Comrade Adeniyi Ahmed Ojikutu, said that at the point of convergence, which is Teslim Balogun Stadium, that there will be entertainment, music, networking and campaign for the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and others. They said that adequate arrangements have been made and they are collaborating with the BOSICG and relevant agencies to ensure that they achieve the target of staging hitch free, biggest and most impacting political campaign in Lagos.
