In a surprising twist during this week’s live eviction, three housemates bid farewell to the BBNaija house, leaving fans and housemates in shock.
Handi, who was previously paired with Wanni, Tjay with Ben who was evicted in the previous week and Shaun with Victoria, have ended their BBNaija journey in the eighth week.
A total of nine housemates were nominated for eviction this week: Wanni, Handi, Shaun, Onyeka, Kassia, Nelly, Anita, Tjay, and Victoria. Notably, some housemates who were formerly pairs were nominated for eviction, Shaun and Victoria from the Shatoria duo and Handi and Wanni from the Handi X Wanni duo.
Tjay got the least votes with 1.04% of the total votes, Handi with 3.99% and Shaun with 8.97%. Predictions on who is slated to win the show are slightly skewed as the turn of this eviction has generated mixed reactions among fans.
After the eviction, Handi expressed her emotional struggle, particularly in leaving her sister behind, but looks forward to future endeavours. Tjay, surprised at making it to week eight, shared his gratitude for his supportive wife and revealed plans to pursue acting post show.
With the stakes higher than ever, viewers are encouraged to vote for their favourite housemates as the drama unfolds.
In two weeks, the winner of BBNaija Season 9 will go home with a cash prize of N65 million and a brand new SUV valued at N50 million.
