Show Me One Thing He Has Done… Part I

To this question, we show them a lot. But, to a hammer everything just has to be a nail.

You show them the NEEDS Documents with its State and Local Government corollaries, they can’t see it. Their understanding of development is Brick and Mortar.

You show them the Banking Consolidation that revolutionized the Banking Sector, ended the failed bank syndrome, restored Depositor’s confidence, created thousands of jobs and provided robust environment for portfolio investments. They will not see it. It is not the Almajiri style of philanthropy they know about.

You show them the Financial Systems Strategy (FSS, 2020) Documents that strengthened and provided a systematic road map for Nigeria’s financial institution. They will not see it. It is not “empowerment”. The type that line up young people and our mothers like destitute under the scorching sun.

You show them Amaoji Primary school, Isuofia, adopted in the last 10years by same man where rural children get access to qualitative basic education at no cost. They will not see it. It is not a one-off trip to Russia that amounts to nothing.

Politics! The simplest way to make a moron appear intelligent. The internet has made it easier for thoughtless expression of dumb ideas.

Until you show me what Ngige “attracted” or did for Anambra before his short ascent to the number one job. Until you point to a Kilometer of road built by Peter Obi or a block of school building attracted by him in Agulu before he became Governor.

Oga, keep quiet and smoke your weed with dignity. Don’t rub off your decorated idiocy on our generation, we all are not so unthinking.

Soludo is an institution. For every day you use the ATM or POS you owe him huge thanks. For that 1 kobo of yours in a bank safe and secured, you owe him all the praise. For that huge debt running in billions for which AMCON is chasing about some people, you owe Soludo a debt of gratitude for making it possible that Nigerian banks could be robust enough to fund huge projects.

For that CBN Center of Excellence standing tall at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus (UNEC), Soludo deserves your respect. For that Igbo brother of yours who runs a Bureau De Change in Onitsha, Soludo deserves your warm reception.

If he did it for Nigeria, he can do it for Anambra.

Ifeanacho is here — the Best Choice of Ndi Anambra.
