*Week 4 Set For Fireworks At Showtime Arena Today

The Showtime Bowl Series XIV delivered another thrilling chapter in Week 3, reinforcing its status as the heartbeat of flag football in Nigeria, with dominant performances, rising contenders, and a reshaped title race.

Abia Warriors were the standout side of the week, dismantling Ogun Horns 42-7 in a commanding display that pushed them from second to first on the table. Their consistency and attacking firepower now place them firmly as the team to beat.

Lagos Knights, despite a tightly contested outing, remain one of the strongest forces in the league, sitting just behind the leaders and still very much in control of their title destiny. Their resilience continues to define their campaign as they keep the pressure on the top spot.

Lagos Rebels produced one of the most complete performances of the round, defeating Delta Braves 28-0 to climb into third place and strengthen their playoff push.

Elsewhere, Lagos Greenbacks secured a 34-12 victory over Delta Panthers to move off the bottom of the standings, while Cross River Ikan edged Rivers Alphas 25-14 in a result that saw the Alphas drop to tenth.

With Week 3 concluded, the standings have tightened significantly — Warriors lead, Knights remain firmly in contention, Rebels surge, and the chase for playoff spots intensifies.

Now, all eyes turn to Week 4, taking place today, Sunday April 12th, at Showtime Arena, Meadow Hall, Lekki, where five exciting matchups are set to deliver another unforgettable day of flag football action.

Delta Panthers will face Rivers Alphas in a crucial battle at the lower end of the table, while Ibom Raptors take on Delta Braves looking to build on their recent momentum. Ogun Horns will aim to bounce back against Lagos Greenbacks, but the headline clash sees Abia Warriors go head-to-head with Lagos Rebels in a high-stakes showdown between two top-three teams.

The final game of the day will see Cross River Ikan challenge Lagos Knights, with the Knights determined to respond and keep their title charge firmly on track.

As the competition grows in intensity and quality, one thing is undeniable — Showtime is not just organizing games, it is building the future of flag football in Africa.

Week 4 is here. The stage is set.
