Chibuike Amaechi, for his recent turbaning as Dan Amanar Daura while calling on Senator Victor Umeh to join Dr Chris Ngige, Senator Rochas Okorocha and Chief Emeka Nwajiuba in the 2023 Presidential race.

In a statement signed by Comrade Uloka Chukwubuikem-Nwankwo, the group said, “We congratulate His Excellency Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Nigerian Minister for Transportation, former Governor of Rivers State, who was recently turbaned the Dan Amanar Daura by the Emir of Daura in Katsina State. He is a proud Igbo son and a detribalized Nigerian, who had continued to deposit his goodwill across the Nation. His recent turbaning by the Daura kingdom as the “Trusted one of Daura” is an affirmation to his Nigerian spirit and patriotism”.

“Amaechi is a proven performer and a astute in all spheres. His tenure as Transport Minister has largely improved the Nigerian transport system; improved on the Nation’s economy and the life of many Nigerians who have been directly and indirectly impacted on. His recognition and turbaning came at a time the Nation is a dire need of National healing and cohesion. As expected, the recognition will further deepen and strengthen our commitment to the One Nigeria project.”

“We also wish to welcome other notable Igbo sons, who hearkened our call to join the Presidential race and declared interest to vie for the Presidential flag of their respective political parties in the quest for the Igbos to produce the next Nigeria President come 2023.”

“We welcome and congratulate the likes of Senator Dr. Chris Nwabueze Ngige and Senator Rochas Anayo Okorocha, former Governors of Anambra and Imo States respectively, the former a sitting Minister for Labour and Employment and the latter Senator of the Federal Republic; and Hon. Emeka Nwajiuba, the Minister of State Education.”

“It’s a known fact that the Igbos are never in lack of professionals, men and women of character, courage, repute and equally sophisticated to turn things around for the country. The interest declaration of these noble Igbo professionals to run for the country’s topmost seat come 2023 is a welcome development and a sign of solidarity for the Nigeria President of Igbo extraction.”

“They have our unalloyed support and that of other great Igbo young people in their numbers who are yearning and willing to mobilize votes and finance.”

“We equally call on other Igbo professionals and leaders to declare their interest for the President of Nigeria in their respective political parties to ensure that we deploy our very best at this critical time.”

“Come 2023, Nigerians demand that the Igbos should be allowed to produce the next President, this opportunity we shall not allow to slide and as such has called on all our best brains and hands to join in the crusade for Nigeria President of Igbo extraction.”

“We call on Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh (Ohamadike) to join the big league and declare his interest to contest for the President of Nigeria on the platform of APGA.”

“He is among the Igbo leaders and courageous politician cum technocrat, who has the sagacity, goodwill and good understanding of the Nigerian state and politics to quickly turn things around for the country.”

“We urge Umeh to join the likes of Ngige, Okorocha, Amaechi, Anyim, Umahi, Nwajiuba, Moghalu, Umeadi and other Igbos to declare interest for the President of Nigeria where his size and strength can fit in and help realize the hope of Nigeria President of Igbo extraction in 2023.”
