In continuation of his infrastructural development of Anambra State, Governor Charles Soludo is constructing a primary healthcare centre for Nawfia community and has just completed the Afor Nawfia Bypass to the Onitsha-Enugu Expressway, in Njikoka Local Government Area (LGA).

Daniel Okoye, the President General of Nawfia, stated that before now, the road used to be in terrible condition, especially in the rainy season when it becomes difficult for people to move easily.

He said, “But now we can testify that the newly constructed road is of a 21st century standard. It is not the kind of road we used to see, and thank God for our able and dynamic Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, who has done a great thing to remember Nawfia community.

Applauding Governor Soludo for the road construction, Ambassador Dr. Ogochukwu Daniel Obele, the Igwe of Nawfia, said it is the only road that goes through Nawfia and it is of high quality, done in less than six months. I also commend Governor Soludo’s government for appointing two indigenes of Nawfia to top positions in his administration. Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and Double Chief, Chinedu Nwoye Glamour, as State Chief of Protocol and Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Soludo.”

While lauding Soludo for his free education scheme, Hon. Prince Chidolue John Clarance Nwankwo, the Secretary of Njikoka LGA, said the children in Nawfia, like in other 176 towns in Anambra, are benefiting enormously from the programme.”We in Nawfia, thank you very much for all you are doing,” he stated.

According to Law Mefor, Honourable Commissioner for Information, Anambra State, “ Governor Soludo is committed to spreading solutions across Anambra State and the projects being executed in Nawfia are parts of the transformation our pragmatic governor is bringing to the state.”
