The Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engr Julius Chukwuemeka, has said that Governor Chukwuma Soludo has recorded tremendous achievements in the last two years.
Engr. Chukwuemeka noted that what Soludo’s adminstration has done in the state in different areas ranging from regional water schemes, solar street light installations, road construction, health care, youth empowerment, teachers and health care recruitments, free basic education, free anti-natal and delivery services among others were tremendous.
The Honourable Commissioner also made it clear that the latest statistics showed that Anambra has lowest out of school children in the whole of Nigeria, which is an incomparable achievement by Soludo’s adminstration and should be commended by Ndi Anambra irrespective of party affiliations.
According to the him, the revitalisation of pipe-borne water in the state after about two decades of non availability of water, is another testament that the government of Anambra State has the interest of the Anambrarians at heart.
He assured that the government will continue to reticulate the water supply for it to go to most parts of the state for the benefit and betterment of Ndi Anambra and appealed to the citizenry to ensure safety and protection of all government facilities in their various communities.
Engr. Chukwuemeka also gave the assurance that the present government will continue to connect communities in the state who have no electricity to the national grid and as well expand the current solar powered street lights to reach the various towns and communities in the state that have not been covered.
He then appealed to Ndi Anambra to always pray as well as support the governor to be able to implement all the good policies and programmes he has in mind for a better Anambra.
