During this holiday season, many Ndi Anambra are questioning why Soludo isn’t campaigning for his re-election and where is he getting all the funds to finance his numerous projects. While these questions are valid, it is important to recognize how he has redefined governance in the state.

Unlike past governors and others, Soludo is focusing on a transformative agenda across all 326 political wards, prioritizing delivering services over electioneering. His administration has a clear implementation timeline, which is evidenced in numerous completed and ongoing projects that have set a new standard in Anambra’s development history. Soludo’s revolutionary approach proves his commitment to the welfare of the people and the transformational agenda he is pursuing.

Yes! Ndi Anambra is questioning how Soludo finances various development projects. He is committed to transparency and responsible use of taxpayer money. His performance exceeds that of some two-term governors, even with a shrinking budget. In contrast to the $517 million spent in 2008 and $1.1 billion in 2013, the 2025 Budget is significantly lower at N606.7 billion. Although the 7th Assembly approved a loan of N100 billion to address infrastructure deficits, Soludo has chosen not to borrow, despite budget provisions anticipated borrowing in 2023 and 2024. Depending on progress in 2025, the government may still avoid borrowing to cover the deficit.

It is safe to say that Soludo has transformed governance in Anambra State by prioritizing sustainable development and the prosperity of all Ndi Anambra over the 2025 forthcoming election. His approach to governance is beyond mere promises and campaign rhetoric as politicians speak from both sides of their mouths. He is focused on achieving more with available limited resources. He will declare interest to seek a re-election at the right time because for now, he has no credible challenger and opposition.
