Soludo Swears-In Another Commissioner

Hon. Mrs. Beverly Nkemdiche-Ikpeazu has been sworn-in as the Anambra State’s new Commissioner for Special Duties.
Mrs. Nkemdiche-Ikpeazu was sworn-in on Wednesday during the State Executive Council meeting, few days after the State’s House of Assembly screened and ratified her nomination.
Speaking during the swearing-in event, the State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, emphasized the significance of the role attached to the position and the expectations that come with it. He congratulated and commended Mrs. Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche for her qualities, which he believes make her well-suited for the position.
According to the Governor, “It is no secret that this new position requires utmost dedication and commitment. It is a role that demands a person who can think outside the box, show empathy and establish positive relationships with all stakeholders. I am pleased to say that you possess these and many other qualities that qualify you for this job”.
Continuing, the Governor assured her of his unwavering support, while urging her to serve diligently in the best of her ability, towards transforming Anambra State and making lives of the citizens better.
His words: “I want to emphasize that you are joining a team that is determined to transform our state and make the lives of our citizens better. You have my support, and I am confident that you will discharge your duties with unwavering diligence and integrity. I wish you all the best as you embark on this challenging journey. Congratulations once again, Madam Commissioner”.
In her response, the new Commissioner, Hon. Ikpeazu-Nkemdiche, who is a former State lawmaker, appreciated the Governor for giving her the opportunity to serve Ndị Anambra in the new capacity.
She also pledged to utilize her wealth of experience gained in the legislative arm of government to serve the people of Anambra and contribute meaningfully to the overall development of the State.
The brand new, Hon. Nkemdiche-Ikpeazu, by her swearing-in has now replaced Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the current National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), who earlier held the position till his election as the National Chairman of APGA few months ago.
