Soludo is one candidate with a sense of gratitude for positive history.
Anambra has had her worse days at the onset of this democratic journey — it was a dark cloud with some silver lining. A learning process that had its fair share of democratic dividends. Talk about the foundations of what is today known as the “Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University” and pockets of other infrastructure sprinkled around the State, we know who to thank.
Then came the road revolution and the micro level interventions of two other Anambra greats. The progresses made were not just appreciable, but also observable.
Then we moved on to the audacity of parsimony – doing more with less – occasioned by two successive economic recessions and an all time dip in oil prices. Anambra experienced a macro level intervention in critical sectors that opened up the State to “Akulueuno”. Today, there is an International Cargo Airport to show for it, with other notable infrastructure readied for a smooth takeoff to a “Prosperous Homeland”.
For a Greater Anambra, think SOLUDO!
