The South West Chairman and Coordinator of the Arewa Community of the APC, Hon Aminu Sanni Jaji, has disowned a faceless group from Lagos, which paid a visit to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation claming to be their members.
P.M.EXPRESS reports as was contained in a statement by the PRO, Arewà Community APC South West and Chairman Arewa community APC Ondo State, Alhaji Umaru Mohammed.
The statement read:
“Sequel to the visit by some faceless groups, Arewa community from Lagos State to the Secretary of Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, at his office recently, claiming to be our members.
“The South West Chairmen have called out the groups parading themselves as Coordinator of Arewa Community APC South West to refrain from the falsehood forthwith.”
The spokesman, Alhaji Mohammed, expressed shock about the groups going across leaders claiming they are Coordinators for Arewa Community APC South West.
“Arewa Community APC South West has been in existence with our Patron and founder, Hon Aminu Sanni Jaji, Honourable member representing the Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency in Zamfara State. The South West body still have him as our patron till date. So we are calling on the public and the leaders of our great party in South West to disassociate from these group of individuals who are just in Lagos politics alone and not South West.”
Hon Mohammed further stated that Hon. Jaji, is a man of proven character and a Legislator per excellence, who has done remarkable things for the Arewa Community APC in South West since his emergence as patron. Arewa APC in South West has benefitted tremendously from his gesture, like Baba for All, which he provided us with cars, branded Wagons, Banners, T-shirts, faz Caps during the 2023 Election for all our leaders across South West and including our Board of Trustees, and financial aids were disbursed during the process.
“Hence, it will be out of place for some groups of people to go about due to their interests to sabotage the inited effort we have put in place come 2027. Below are our structures across South West, and anyone who is parading himself beside these group are not of Arewa Community, APC, South West.”
The Arewa Community APC South Leadership are as follows;
Founder Arewà Community APC South West: Hon Aminu Sanni jaji, Member representing Kaura Namode /Biruni Magaji Federal Constituency, while Alhaji Sa’adu Yusuf Dandare Gulma, Chairman Arewa Community APC, Lagos State. Also Alhaji Sanni Kangiwa Sarduna, Chairman, Arewa Community APC, Ondo State and Vice Chairman Arewa Community APC South West.
Others are the scribe (Secretary) of Area Community APC South West, Hon Prince Hadi Sani, who is also the chairman Arewa Community APC Ogun State and SSA to Ogun State Governor, Prince Prince Dapo Abiodun.
Hon Bashir Mai Bornu, Arewà Community APC South West Treasurer and Chairman Arewa Community APC Oyo State.
Alhaji Umaru Mohammed, who is the mouth piece of Arewa Community APC South West and also Chairman of Ondo State Arewa Community APC .
Hon Bawa Hassan, who serves as SSA to Governor of Ekiti State and also Financial Secretary of Arewa Community APC South West constitutes the full executives that control and coordinate all activities in South West.
“Therefore, we advise all those presenting themselves to desist from creating a faction in the Arewa Community APC in South West but to maintain the existing status quo as we build a strong and formidable Arewa community.”
“Any requirements concerning Arewa community APC South West should be directed to the Arewa Community South West Secretariat” the group stated.
