The Southwest CaGRAM has strongly condemned the distortions and misleading captions posted through blogs and some national dailies over the purported removal of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.
While reacting to the misleading of the general public on the imbroglio, the Southwest Chairman of CaGram, Comrade Okedara Kolawole, corrected the wrong captions and impression the mischievous elements intend to create by bringing old pictures and video of CaGram leadership bringing down the billboards erected by the expelled National Secretary of CaGram, Emmanuel Nwosu, at the APC headquarters over three months ago as directed by the Director of Administration of the party, Prof. A.A Adediwura.
He said, “We advise the mischievous elements to stop their evil acts and stop misleading the progressives and the general public. The pictures and video posted everywhere on social media and national dailies have nothing to do with the capacity National Chairman of our great party. We affirm our solidarity and unflinching support at this period. We knew the National Chairman to be a bridge builder and a great nationalist, who have united and brought success to the party in no small measures.”
“Therefore, the public shouldn’t be cajoled with wrong narrative please.”
“In same vein, the yoruba agitators, who invaded the Oyo State Secretariat are advised to take over power through the democratic process and stop the barbaric, heinous and criminal act they are embarking on. This is a very disgraceful step unbecoming of a true Omoluabi. Their steps and acts could cause unrest, destabilization, chaos and instability. Yorubas are known to be peace loving people and we condemn in strong terms this evil act.”
“We call on the authorities to unravel and look into this affront and bring whoever is involved to book. The Southwest believes in the Renewed Hope agenda of Mr. President and we are solidly behind him. We hope and encourage Nigerians to keep hope alive, as Nigeria will soon reclaim its leadership position in the comity of nations” Comrade Okedara Kolawole concluded.
