Leading digital Pay-TV Company, StarTimes has introduced an interactive e-shopping platform of premium selection named “StarTimes GO” for customers to access top shopping experience at the comfort of their homes.

This, according to the company is due to the prevailing circumstances that have forced many across the African continent to adjust to new ways of living and the need to practice a healthy environment for the pandemic control.

The newly born e-shopping service programme with “Better Life, Lets Go” as slogan will be aired on StarTimes Channels, with the no-touch “Top” shopping experience through integrated services like; TV, Online, Phone-Call and its online streaming platform, StarTimes ON.

The programme will cover the Sub Saharan Africa with Uganda and Kenya as pilot countries.

Speaking on the initiative, the company noted that “it is obvious that Nigerians have been asked to stay at home due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and given the concerns of our loyal customers who will like to do some shopping at this critical period, the newly e-shopping service platform “StarTimes Go” will be available for customers to choose their preferred items while encouraging social distancing and the spread of COVID-19”.

The company noted that, “The e-shopping service will have frequently displays of smart equipments such as TV set, solar power system and decoder, and the category will be expanded gradually.

Explaining Further, the company noted that “The hosts of the programme will explain the features, quality, and the usage of each product displayed without having physical contacts with the salesperson. And aside from the safety consideration, what makes your choice even wiser is that most products available are priced lower than market price”
