A pressure group, Our Nation For Justice Initiative, ONAJI, has warned opposition groups on their unwarranted actions to discredit the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

In a statement by ONAJI President, Mr. Olusola Orelaja, the group stated that the confusionist and cabals in this country should seize from engaging in every acts of undermining and discrediting Osinbajo.

According to ONAJI leader, “Nigerians should acknowledge when a messiah is sent while lies and those untrue stories were absolutely uncalled for. Why are they finding ways to drag the VP’s name into the mud despite being lauded as the best VP Nigeria ever witnessed?”

He pointed out of the recently commendation of Osinbajo by the Emir of Daura, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Umar Farouk Umar who spoke so highly of the VP and of his loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Emir Farouk had stated that the honesty and commitment shown by the Vice President and his relationship with President Buhari, was what Nigeria requires to attain greatness.

ONAJI President said the Emir conclusive praises of Osinbajo triggered confusion and the cabals were obviously not happy more so, his commitments to Nigeria’s projects and its managements were causing them sleepless nights.

“No one can humiliate our Vice President as Nigerians are carefully studying the situation to which he was believed has demonstrated a good leadership,” Orelaja said.

“The purported ongoing controversies surrounding the Office of Vice President and an alleged strained relationship between him and his principal is the handwork of the cabals. These were attempts to foil the good relationship between the president and the VP.

“The Vice President has justified by his actions, love and doing towards the citizenry of the country without creed, colour, religions and tribes, therefore he should be allowed to have rest of mind to taking Nigeria to the next level with his principal,” he added.

Orelaja noted that the Vice President is a God fearing man and his services and contributions to this nation will never go unnoticed no matter how the oppositions strives hard.

“As an NGO, one of our aims and objectives is to support good governance which this administration has achieved. The VP is always concerned about the wellbeing of Nigerians and way to serve them better, not by their tribe, religion or status,” he stated.

Orelaja then urged Nigerians to refrain from sharing unverified and untrue stories in the social media as it could cause unwarranted crisis in the country.
