In a bid to support the All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, a coalition of Lagosians is set to launch a Street Level Movement to mobilize people towards the 2019 gubernatorial election in Lagos.

In a statement made available to newsmen by Olalekan Oni,
Director, Media and Publicity, the group explained that it is a grassroots movement which cuts across all socio-economic strata: entrepreneurs, professionals and upwardly mobile individuals. Sanwo-Olu Direct is focused on taking the message of good governance, preached by the aspirant from door-to-door; across all the five divisions in the state. The Street Level Movement aims to endear the candidature of Mr. Sanwo-Olu to everyone in Lagos.

Throwing more light on their activities the Coordinator of the Movement, Mr. Ademola Adewusi, said that the coalition is a strategic grassroots team which is independently governed and it is positioned to complement the activities of the Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Organization (BOSCO) in ensuring victory for a competent and eminently qualified candidate.

According to him, “the movement will be launched on the 3rd of November,2018, at Aptech Building, Idi-Iroko Bus Stop by 10am. The special guest of honour at the event is Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu. The meeting is open to all well-meaning supporters of the candidature of Mr. Sanwo-Olu as the next Governor of the Centre of Excellence, Lagos State”.

It would be recalled that Mr. Sanwoolu got the endorsement of all political stakeholders in the state to emerge as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming gubernatorial elections. Prior to now, he has held various offices in the private and public sectors of the state since 1999. He was a member of the team that put together the Lagos State Developmental Masterplan amongst many other projects that has transformed the state.
