The National Forum of SUBEB Public Relations Officers has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden passing of Mrs. Judith Moses, the Public Relations Officer of Gombe State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), who died in a tragic road accident.
According to a statement jointly signed by the National Coordinator, Richard Nanpon Jonah, and the National Secretary, Olamide Adeniji, the late Mrs. Moses was among victims of a fatal vehicle accident involving members of the Gombe State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
The journalists were reportedly returning from a colleague’s wedding ceremony in Adamawa State when the accident occurred.
Early reports indicate that eight persons lost their lives in the crash, including Mrs. Moses, described by colleagues as an amiable and dedicated professional committed to the progress of basic education and effective public communication in Gombe State.
The Forum expressed shock at the tragedy, noting that her death is a painful loss not only to her family and colleagues but also to the entire SUBEB PR community nationwide.
“We are deeply saddened by this event and pray that God grants her soul eternal rest,” the statement read.
“Our deepest condolences go to her immediate family—may the good Lord comfort them during this difficult time.”
The Forum described Mrs. Moses as a loyal team member whose contributions, professionalism, and warm personality will be greatly missed.
