This has become the albatross of modern Nigerian Leaders/Politicians. Especially those who feed fat on sycophantic praise-singing from people who wrest livelihoods off their ego tripping.
Brethren! I’ve been there before. Cheerleading the “unpopular”. It ended in shame, pain and the now gradual collapse of a once vibrant leader. Those who tell Leaders that they are all powerful and all knowing must learn from our experience.
The Peter Obi 2017 empty show and the Oshiomhole 2020 experience are cases in point. They have become precedents for Leaders who must now be very critical of those who say such Leaders are “all powerful”.
This is a moment to reflect on these things and take heed lest we fall again!
This is my Sunday “sermon on the app”.
