To remedy whatever wrong perception  about the persons of Mrs Mosunmola Gbadebo and Femi Oliver, who were alleged to have threatened the lives of two siblings, Sunday Gbenga Alese and his younger brother, Temitope have tendered a public apology to them.
They stated that the publication was not intended to malign them and it was unfortunate that what was a family matter had gone to the public domain and worsened their relationship.
Gbenga stated that as the eldest son in the family, he has appealed to the two Media houses, P.M.EXPRESS and Naomisophy’s Blog to pull the story down, which they have graciously done.
He regretted and condemned the publications which had the tendency to scañdalise their elder sister, Mosunmola, and younger brother, Femi. He asked why on earth would anyone publicly refer to his sister as an assassin, stressing that despite all, he has deep rooted love for his big sister.
He further said that Femi Oliver is one of his cherished late mother’s offsprings, and that he is saddened by the very unwarranted media infiltration into a family matter.
Like his brother, he pointed at enemies as orchestrators.
He therefore, emphasized that at any point when they had dragged themselves before any authority, it was due to natural internal disagreements that merely needed intrinsic resolution – stating that any media exposure is obviously the handiwork of close and distant enemies, who want their family bond shattered.
Reacting to the development, Mosunmola Gbadebo, expressed great displeasure over the news, which she said had inflammatory, defamatory and criminal contents capable of dragging her reputation in the mud.
According to Mosunmola, there was no reason for her half siblings to reach to such an extent just to score a point against her.
In similar vein, Femi Oliver, a younger sibling, who was named alongside Gbadebo, stated that his half brothers, Tope and Gbenga Alese, were so unbrotherly in their media onslaught against him and Mosunmola.
He further noted that as a Pastor, his name has been tarnished seriously.
The siblings had been enmeshed in squabbles over their late mother’s sprawling estate, situation that now linked past and recent misunderstandings, allegations and counter allegations that reached a scary crescendo. With the public apology to the siblings, it appears peace has gradually returned to the family cherished so much by their late mom.
