Sup. Evangelist Adesanlu Goes Home 19 Nov In Ondo Town

The Late Superior Evangelist Adesanlu

The family has announced the burial arrangement for the late Sup/Evang/Dr Festus Akinjisola Adesanlu, who died at the age of 81 recently.


According to the programme for the burial, a copy which was made available to P.M. EXPRESS at the weekend, there will be a Service of Song for the late Baba Mejemeje on Wednesday, 17 November at Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), Irawo Owuro Parish at Adekoya Street, Alagbole, Ogun State from 5- 8 pm.


This is CCC where he was the Shepherd before his death on September 22, 2021.


The following day, on Thursday, a Wake Keep will be held at his residence at 13, Adedute Crescent Beta Lab, off Wole Ayo Hospital, behind Polak Hotel Ademulegun Road in Ondo town, Ondo State between 5 and 8 pm.


A funeral service, which starts at 10 am, will hold on Friday, 19 November at his residence at 13 Adedute Crescent in Ondo town, while the entertainment of guests followed immediately after the service at the same venue.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Taiwo Adesanlu eulogised a life well spent by their father, adding that the late Superior Evangelist Adesanlu had left behind a huge legacy that would be heavy to be filled in the family.


“I want to thank the Almighty God for a fulfilled life spent by our father. He was a father of all when he was alive. We are happy that he is now resting with his Lord. We will forever miss you, Daddy, rest on in the bossom of the Lord,” he said.

Superior Evangelist Adesanlu was former Secretary of the Celestial Circuit of Alagbole Region, Ifo Local Government of Ogun State, and ex-staff of Agip Nigeria Limited where he rose to become a Senior Stores Keeper until his retirement in 1998.


He held several certificates as a Clergy at Dunamis Christian University (affiliation with the USA), a Diploma certificate course in Theology, a Bachelor degree in Theology, a Masters degree in Theology and Doctorate degree in Theology.


He was married to the late Madam Florence Oluwafunmibi Adesanlu (Nee Oladejo) and was blessed with children, grandchildren and relatives.
