The Asiwaju Group, TAG, has congratulated its Conveners, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi and Prince Ade Omole, on their appointments to strategic positions in the 2027 APC Presidential Campaign Council.
In a statement signed by the National Coordinator, Hon. Oyinkansola Okewoye, and Co-Coordinator, Hon. Abdulrazaq Danjuma, TAG described the appointments as well-deserved recognition of loyalty, experience and commitment to the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
TAG said the appointments reflect President Tinubu’s confidence in the duo’s proven track record during the 2022–2023 presidential campaign.
The Group noted that both Dr. Abdullahi and Prince Omole served in the APC Presidential Campaign Council that mobilised support for the historic election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in 2023.
“Their reappointment is therefore not only a recognition of past contributions but also a renewed call to service at another defining moment in Nigeria’s political journey,” the statement read.
According to TAG, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi has been appointed Secretary, Sports Sector Mobilisation. The Group said he brings substantial experience in youth engagement, grassroots mobilisation and strategic political organisation to the role.
Prince Ade Omole was appointed Deputy Director, Diaspora Mobilisation I. TAG highlighted his impressive record in Diaspora engagement, having served as Director of the Diaspora Directorate of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council in 2022–2023.
“Their previous contributions to the successful campaign that produced the Tinubu-Shettima administration provide a strong foundation for the responsibilities entrusted to them ahead of 2027,” TAG stated.
The Asiwaju Group said it is proud that its two Conveners continue to be recognised as dependable actors within the President’s political family and campaign structure.
TAG expressed the belief that the appointments demonstrate the importance of rewarding loyalty and placing proven hands at the forefront of mobilisation to communicate the achievements of the Renewed Hope Administration.
The Group also pledged to work with all stakeholders to ensure the successful re-election of President Tinubu in 2027 and the consolidation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“TAG congratulates Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi and Prince Ade Omole on this well-deserved recognition and wishes them every success in their respective assignments,” the statement concluded.
