Dr kweku Tandoh
The Executive Chairman of Lagos State Sports Commission, Dr. Kweku Adedayo Tandoh has been appointed as the Tournament Director of the 2019 International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Nigeria Open Challenge Plus for the second year running.
Tandoh was the Tournament Director for the 5th edition in 2018 and for delivering a successful tournament last year, the ITTF and the Main Organising Committee (MOC) decided to re-appoint him for this year’s 6th edition which has been upgraded to a Challenger Plus status. The ITTF Nigeria Open Challenge Plus is Africa’s elite table tennis tournament and it holds from August 7 to 11, 2019 at the Molade Okoya Thomas Indoor Sports Hall of Teslim Balugun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
ITTF Africa Regional President and Chairman of the MOC, Mr. Wahid Enitan Oshodi conveyed ITTF’s appreciation to Tandoh and urged him to bring his over 25 years experience in sports administration to bear in this new assignment.
