A 28- year old school teacher, Ajayi Akintunde, has landed in trouble in Lagos after he reportedly forced his joystick into the mouth of an 18-year old girl in order to satisfy his sexual desire within the school premises.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Fazi-1-Omat High School located at Iwaya area of Lagos where they reside.
It was gathered that the victim was intimidated by the suspect, Ajayi, and reportedly taken into a corner where he brought out his joystick and forced it into her mouth.
However, the matter was reported to the police after the victim was said to have informed her parents about what happened. Ajayi was then arrested and later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during investigation, the suspect admitted that he had oral sex with her but he did not force his joystick into her mouth as she claimed. But the victim insisted that he threatened her and forced her to do so against her consent.
The police found him culpable and charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The Court did not take his plea after the prosecutor, Supol Peter Nwaogwgwu, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP since it was a case of penetration to determine the status of the matter.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. Y.O. Aje-Afunwa, ordered his remand in prison custody without taking his plea or considering option of bail.
The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice while the defendant, Ajayi, will be in prison custody until the DPP’s report is ready.
The matter was adjourned till 3rd May, 2019.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Ajayi may be transferred to the High Court if the DPP finds him culpable and recommends his trial for the alleged offence.
