The second Head of House games saw all 24 housemates compete in pairs. Following Big Brother’s twist on Sunday, the housemates now have their fates tied with their partners. Biggie paired the Nigerian ladies with South African men and vice versa.

The winning pair, Blaqleng (Blaq Boi and Ipeleng), are the first co-heads of house and have all the HOH privileges.

The first round of games was the “shaky-shaky challenge”, where the men had to twerk with a box wrapped around their waist until they emptied all the balls. They had some help from their partners. The ladies whose partners had performed the best in the first round then played the tissue challenge. They had to roll a tissue with a wine glass on top of it towards themselves.

Blue Aiva finished the challenge first, but Big Brother disqualified all the female housemates except Khosi and Ipeleng from the next round of games because they dragged the tissue wad instead of rolling it.

The third round saw Team Blaqleng (Blaqboi and Ipeleng) compete against Team Khosicle (Khosi and Miracle). Each team had to juggle four balloons in the air without letting them touch the ground. They could use their hands, shoulders, and legs to keep the balloons afloat. They were also allowed to help their partners. However, they were not to touch or pick up a fallen balloon.

After a few seconds of each participant juggling the balloons in the air, Team Blaqleng won the Head of House title. They both won immunities from the week’s eviction and the exclusive use of the Head of House bedroom. They also get to save and replace housemates after nominations.

On the other hand, Yemi Cregx and Nelisa emerged as the week’s Tail of House, and for their rewards, they are to wear the trademark tail and use a whiteboard to indicate when they want to speak. They are not allowed to say more than what they can write on their boards.

For week two nominations, keeping in line with the two-for-one rules, the paired housemates were to discuss their choices with their partners, but Big Brother forbade them from telling other pairs their choices. Only one person per pair was allowed to share their nominations in the diary room.

At the end of the nominations, SanTheo received eight nominations, while Yelisa (Yemi and Nelisa), Juvone (Justin and Yvonne), and the Royals (Ebubu and Tsatsi) all received three nominations each. Blaqleng then saved the Royals and replaced them with Juiovla (Juicy Jay and Olivia). It means Yelisa, Juvone, SanTheo and Juiovla are all up for possible eviction, and at least one of the pairs will say goodbye to the show on Sunday.

Voting opens at 10 pm on Monday and closes on Thursday at 9 pm. Fans can vote for their favourite pairs using the MyDStv or MyGOtv app or via mobile or website. Votes on the apps are dependent on your DStv subscription package, while everyone gets 100 votes on the mobile or website.
