Team Nigeria Para-Powerlifters are dictating the pace at the ongoing Powerlifting World Cup holding in Manchester, Great Britain.
P.M. EXPRESS reports that the results after Day 2 of the event show Team Nigeria have won 6 gold and 3 silver medals.
Breakdown of the medals won so far, indicates that 4 gold and one silver were won in the women’s category while the men accounted for the remaining 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
Nigeria is being trailed by Ukraine that is having 2 gold and 2 silver medals as at Day-2 of the event, while host nation, Great Britain is occupying the third position.
Action will continue Saturday, Day-3 of the trilling exercise.
