Now in its 5th year, this initiative has served as a platform to promote awareness around the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives in hospitals and emergency care facilities, by mobilizing young people, corporate professionals, healthcare advocates, and members of the public to donate blood.

Nigeria continues to face significant blood shortages, with many patients requiring urgent blood transfusions for surgeries, maternal healthcare, accident emergencies, cancer treatment, and sickle cell management.
