The Audacity To Transform: A Mid-term Account From Third-party Perspective

My brother and friend Dr Anselm Onuorah has put together this fine piece of well written personal mid-term account of the Solution administration from a third party perspective. Privileged to have read the first and final draft of this intellectual output, I must commend the rigor and evidence-based approach to this literary piece.

Though much of what is captured in the book have long been surpassed even before its final print, the fault is entirely those of the subject-matter and not by any stretch that of the Author. To really make a midterm review of a Marathoner like Gov. Soludo, you must be ready for something more longitudinal than cross-sectional.

The book rightly titled, “The Audacity To Transform” captures the rare sides of Soludo’s impetus for all he is doing. To know why, you just must read this book.

I met Anselm at YESS Anambra. He is one of the very sterling individuals within the YESS family who understood governance beyond mere transactions. To his credit, he lived out the ideals that bind us as YESS members within his short stint as the Local Government Mayor of Anambra East. Just like Chibueze Ofobuike, many young outstanding Turks have emerged in the local and National polity through the instrumentality of Gov. Soludo’s mentorship. For this we are grateful!

Unlike some other ragtag pseudo intellectuals littering this space, we did not serve at YESS to be rewarded like a prebend, nor reckon that we would further the old order where political appointments were seen as “empowerment”. Today, like Soludo our mentor, we have become mentors to many known and unknown. We have become active players in shaping the polity and politics and not mere “Analyst” who only see all that is wrong.

Congratulations Anse, I am proud of you!
