The Devil Is A Lawyer

No, it is not what you think it is, it is just what it is. The devil is a lawyer! This has nothing doing with wigs and gowns, the devil will not need any of such. It sounds so hilarious and conflicting, isn’t it? That was how I felt when the thought crept into my mind over three years ago. As I hurriedly penned it down on a piece of paper, I kept giggling so loudly, seeking who to share it with.

No matter how smart or fast you think you are in arguments; you cannot outsmart the devil in the contest of accusations and counter accusation. He has an unbroken record as the holder of the highest Laurel in the field of allegations and intimidation. As an expert in human psychology, he has lexicons, journals and updated reports on man’s fundamental feebleness, imbecility, gullibility and his pathological flaws.

Except you have what it take to counter the facts presented against you by the devil, he will always take advantage of your flaws and floor you. The devil’s eyes rolls to and fro to discover and uncover without your consent, those skeletons that you cover in your cupboard. You will be irrational to call the devil a liar, when you cannot deny torrents of facts reeling out of his volumes of case files, about your past and present misdemeanors.

To call the devil a liar, you must know what the devil does not know. Professionalism is not the answer, intellectualism will fail, and social or religious activism is a mere child play. Political or religious position is inconsequential, grammatical sagacity, judicial experiences or rhetorical and oratorical jingoism are purely pointless. You are not a match in argument with the devil! His nickname is “The Accuser of the Brethren”.  Don’t you understand?

To floor the devil with all of his facts, there is not only what to know but there is who to know because you are not indeed flawless! One, you need to know “The Truth” and two; you need to know and meet “The Advocate”.  Any Questions?
