The Difference Between Old School & New School Fraudsters…

Apart from the digitization of graft that saw many fraudulent goons leave the street to take shelter behind computer screens and phone keypads, the fundamental difference between old and new practitioners is “process”. While the old guys were more concerned about every step of the process, consciously covering dubious trails and deliberate about building a legitimate facade that provides some explanation to sudden wealth; the new fraudsters care less about process they are particular about outcome.

Thus, it really matters little to be identified as a “gee boy” as long as you pull up in a Benz, Lexus, Ford and other luxurious cars; own choice properties, wear needless blings and jewelleries. Then shutdown the club with different rounds of “dorime”

Today’s fraudsters are audacious and working hard to normalise their illicit craft. They are not interested in how you perceive them, they have gone from propping colonial rationale for their indulgence to raising local alibis for any attempt at questioning them. For instance, when you talk to new fraudster about the need to establish a good and legitimate source of livelihood, they query you, “did you also ask me the source of my poverty?”

After all, “all we have God gave us”…
