DON EBUBEOGU

Armed with insightful data from the American Spice Trade Association, we delved into the rich tapestry of the spice trade, with the vibrant spice haven of India as our prime destination, where more than 70% of the world’s spices originate.

The stage was set as Tiger Foods forged a unique alliance with Tit-Bit Spices, a family-owned business that mirrors our philosophy and spirit. This dynamic partnership, which took root in the late 90s, continues to thrive today, marking a chapter of enduring collaboration and mutual success.

While forerunner players like Lion, Ducros, and Milestone peddled their spices in plastic containers, Tiger Foods Limited ushered in a new era by presenting their spices in convenient sachets. This strategic move catapulted Tiger Foods to the forefront of the mass market, making us the pioneers of sachet-packaged spices, a historic shift that resonated with the legendary transformation witnessed in the Milk industry, echoing the iconic impact of the Cowbell sachet Milk.

In our remarkable journey, Tiger Foods has not only redefined the spice industry but also etched its name as a trailblazer, poised for even more groundbreaking innovations.

We introduced blends anchored on fusing imported spices with local variants to create taste and flavour profiles that sit well with the local palates, which gave birth to Integrated Ingredients (Mixed Spices), Tiger Curry Gold, Larsor Peppersoup Seasoning, Curry Masala and Tiger Tomato Stew Mix, which is our newest innovative product made with the Nigerian taste in mind.

With a vision that transcends tradition and a commitment to pioneering change, we continue to stir the spice market with our spirit of innovation and unwavering pursuit of excellence.
