Giving an insight into the activities of THEREIIN, the President, John Chukwu, said, “Our organization seeks to address the issue of poverty eradication, creative research, social injustice, promotion and protection of human rights of the less privileged and, in particular, the rights of vulnerable groups and women”.
“We use the law as an instrument of justice to provide inclusion for vulnerable groups in Nigeria and ensure the actualization of the rights guaranteed for all, both international, nationally, and locally.”
“We work to bring a wide range of support to the vulnerable/poor communities/individuals in the communities of the world to access, achieve, and assert their fundamental human rights. Through our core programmes, we encourage, mobilize, and aid systemic and institutional reforms that recognize and enable equal opportunities and greater access to the enforcement of human rights.”
“Our approach is to work with, support, and empower vulnerable/excluded persons in the communities of the world. We believe that real, lasting change can only result from an oppressed group identifying its grievances and developing demands and a strategy for addressing them.”
