TEMITOPE AJAYI

I suddenly felt the crushing weight of the death of Mr. Herbert Wigwe, who passed on in a tragic helicopter crash in America. The news became more tragic with the knowledge that his wife, son, and his friend, Mr. Abimbola Ogunbanjo also died in the crash.

I got to know him through my friends who worked very closely with him and I must add that they are not finding it easy at the moment.

Mr. Wigwe and his partner, Aig Imokhuede have extraordinary work ethics and they worked so hard to build a global bank brand out of Nigeria. There had been so much sadness and sorrow within the business community since the news broke.

May God comfort all the families and loved ones.
