Tinubu, Ajimobi, Ladoja, Obanikoro, Obasa, Others Visit Aregbesola Over Mom’s Death

The Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has continued to received well wishers who came to condone with him over the death of his mother.

Iya Olobi as Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola, the aged mother of the Governor fondly called, died on Monday and had since been buried in Ilesa, Osun State.

National Leader of All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was y of the well wishers who visited Aregbesola at the Government House, Osogbo, Wednesday afternoon. Former chairman of the party and ex Governor of Osun State, Chief Bisi Akande, the Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, Rasheed Ladoja were also important dignitaries who were in Osogbo to condole Aregbesola.

Others were former Defence Minister, Musiliu Obanikoro, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, Senator Sola Adeyeye, House of Representatives member, representing Ilesa Federal Constituency, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa, former House of Representatives member, representing Ede Federal Constituency, Barrister Adetunji Ajagbe, former House of Representatives member, representing Ife Federal Constituency, Hon Rotimi Makinde, APC chieftain in Ede North local government, Comrade Yahaya Majeed, some local government chairmen from Lagos State and most especially the Mandate Group who came to Osogbo in two full load of luxury buses.

From Osogbo, a long convoy of the well wishers drove with the Governor to Ireja area in Ilesa where Iya Olobi, 84 was buried. At the burial place, Tinubu and other well wishers offered a brief Islamic prayers for the departed soul.
