This came to the fore when the General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, Mr.Tayo Akanle led members of the ‘Motorbike Incidents Live Streaming Committee’ on a working visit to the General Manager of the LNSA, Prince Ifalade Oyekan at the Agency’s Headquarters in Bolade, Oshodi.
Mr. Akanle hinted that leveraging technology, the ‘Motorbike Incidents Live Streaming’ Initiative will further help Motorists make informed decisions when they view live Reports from the station’s Live Motorbike Reporters on the Station’s Social Media Platforms, including Instagram and Facebook, among others.
Akanle said, “We desire to continue to add value to Lagosians and having at the back of our mind that we are here to seek for more knowledge that will enable us to perform our job much better than before and going digital is one of the ways that are operational in the world of today”.
While appreciating the visit and the role being played by Lagos Traffic Radio in traffic management in the State, General Manager, Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Ifalade Oyekan, noted that the partnership would go a long way to assist security Agencies and other stakeholders in planning.
“Your radio station is one of the front-runners when it comes to traffic management, this is a brilliant idea that I am witnessing and I believe it is just the beginning. A lot of things will still be done aside from this courtesy visit, with a view to rub minds on common goals”, Oyekan said.
