The President of the National Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria, Comrade Augustine Agbo Ajeh has declared that the association is ready to mobilise its support for the realisation of the presidential aspiration of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
After months of speculation, the Star Boy as Osinbajo is fondly called by his teeming admirers across the country, early on Monday made known his intention to succeed incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari through the platform of the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
President of the tricycle owners association, Augustine seized the opportunity of the declaration to voice out the plan of the association to mobilise its members for Osinbajo.
According to him, the tricycle owners association with over 15 million members across the 36 states of the federation including Abuja sees in Osinbajo the rare qualities Nigeria needs in a leader in this period.
Augustine told journalists in Abuja Monday morning that the tricycle owners association had a long time relationship with Osinbajo before now, adding that the Star Boy is not strange to his members.
“We have a long term relationship with Osinbanjo and he knows where the shoes pinch Nigerian. He is a patriotic, loyal and focused man who can turn sacrifices of Nigerians to opportunity,” Augustine said. He, however, disclosed further that details about how the association will mobilise its members for Osinbajo’s project will be made public in the coming days.
