The fight which started from the family to the police have now moved to a Lagos court where Ahmed is facing a criminal prosecution.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that their late father left some houses and caterpillar parts worth the amount before he died. Ahmed was in charged of the property as the administrator since Mukaila resides in London and entrusted the property to him.

However, when Mukaila who spent over 30 years in London before he returned to Nigeria to settle recently wanted to know how Ahmed had managed the property when he was not around, he was shocked that some of the property were no longer there and Ahmed was unable to explain what happened.

P.M.EXPRESS learnt that Ahmed sold some of the property and converted it to his own personal use without informing and carrying his elder brother along.

Following the discovery, Mukaila reported the matter to the Police and Ahmed was arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates court for stealing under the Criminal Code.

He pleaded not guilty.

During the hearing, the female prosecutor, Inspector Rita Momah did not object his bail but urged the court to grant him bail so that he will be able to come for trial in the interest of justice.

The presiding Magistrate, Mrs A.O. Adedayo granted him bail in the sum of N5m with two sureties in the like sum.

However, Ahmed was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions.
