Fast-rising United Kingdom-based actress, Oluwajuwon Quadri has won the Best Producer in the Yoruba movie category at the recently held City People Movie Awards.
Olajuwon bagged the honour in recognition of her contribution to the growth of the Yoruba sector of the Nigerian movie industry.
The award ceremony, held at Balmoral Event Centre, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos and organised by the frontline soft-sell journal, City People Magazine, was to recognise and celebrate industry players who have been outstanding in the year in review.
Speaking after picking the coveted awards, Olajuwon thanked the organizers and said the award will challenge her to do more.
The hardworking producer and CEO of TGL Logistics has produced hit movies including Fikemi, Ewawunmi and Etan, all marketed by Okiki Films.
She has also acted in numerous movies like Adanwo Nla and Igboran.
Aside Olajuwon, star actresses Lizzy Anjorin and Tayo Sotayo also won big at the annual awards which attracted distinguished personalities from all walks of life and entertainment bigwigs including Dele Odule, Adebayo Salami, Jide kosoko, Kunle Afolayan, Femi Adebayo, Sunkanmi Omobolanle, Gloria and Elvina Ibru to name a few.
