Umahi’s Confession: A Powerful Endorsement Of Soludo’s Unmatched Transformational Leadership

In a striking political moment that has sent ripples through Anambra’s political space, Engr. Dave Umahi—Minister of Works and former Governor of Ebonyi State—has made two extraordinary declarations that speak volumes about Soludo’s exceptional performance in Anambra.

First, Umahi, known for his infrastructural revolution in Ebonyi and his initiatives across Nigeria, made a public acknowledgment of Soludo’s “incredible and measurable achievements” in Anambra. He praised Soludo’s innovative policies, high standards of road construction, the quality of the Solution team, his governance and security model, and the breaking of the 34-year jinx of Anambra lacking a suitable government house and governor’s lodge, along with achievement in human capital development.

Next came what political analysts are calling a masterclass in statesmanship: Umahi advised opposition members in Anambra, including those from his own party, the APC, to “save their energy” rather than contest against Soludo in the upcoming gubernatorial election. This is a tacit admission that the Governor’s transformative work has made him politically “ogodomiogo.”

Why This Matters:
When a sitting Federal Minister and a prominent figure in the opposition openly praises a governor from another party, it indicates transcendent leadership. Umahi’s confession reinforces that Soludo’s “Solution Agenda” is not mere propaganda; it is delivering tangible results.

His candid advice to the opposition effectively declares Soludo’s reelection bid a “no-go zone,” for the opposition affirming the overwhelming and genuine grassroots support for Soludo.

This strong endorsement solidifies Soludo’s reputation as Nigeria’s gold standard in governance—a leader whose sterling performance are so significant that even critics must take note and commend him.

As Anambra approaches the 2025 elections, one thing is clear: when performance is this undeniable, even the opposition recognizes that resistance is futile.
