OSITADIMMA IZUCHUKWU ANSELM
Sequel to his formal declaration to run for the office of Orlu/Orsu and Oru-East Federal Constituency, the foremost human capital developer of the Zone has concluded plans to host his political structures spread across Orlu Zone. It is pertinent to note that during his official declaration, the over-2000-capacity-ultramodern hall he sited just adjacent his main gate was filled to the brim. Chief Felix Idiga, this time, is optimistic that this number would be doubled. Politics is a game of number and JAFAC, as he’s popularly called is aptly equipped with it.
Speaking to a handful of his political friends who paid him a solidarity visit at this Abuja home, Chief Felix Idiga reminded them of an interview he granted to the press men at the entrance of Concord Hotel, Owerri, just before he made his way into the hall for the Imo State Executive Committee meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the 18th of March. He made it abundantly clear that the party (APC) cannot afford to face the 2019 general elections divided. He enjoined all hands to be on deck, insisting that only a united party can guarantee the success of her aspirants.
Chief Sir Idiga Felix is a man of unity. ‘Nkwa Chukwu kwere Orlu’ as he’s most fondly called does not operate in a rancorous environment. For this purpose, he intends to assemble all his political structures littered across the zone (Orlu) including that of his humanitarian outfit – The JAFAC Foundation. This is going to be a political familiarization summit of some sort. The date for this all-important initiative is going to be made public in due course.
