Notable sporting outfit, Buruj Sports Academy, has announced a contract extension for Prosperity Samuel Anionovo, a 15-year-old left-back and left winger, under the Academy’s Football and Education Programme.

The extension keeps Prosperity at the Academy for the next phase of his development, as he balances elite football training with his secondary school education.

A native of Enugu State, Prosperity joined Buruj Sports Academy from JSS2 and has since made outstanding progress both academically and on the football pitch.

Now a Commercial Class student, he will progress from SS1 to SS2 in the next academic session. Coaches say his dedication, discipline, and determination have earned him the confidence of the Academy to continue under the structured development contract.

“Prosperity is a perfect example of what our Football and Education Programme is built for,” the Academy said. “He works hard in class and gives the same energy on the training ground.”

Known for his pace, defensive strength, attacking ability, and versatility, Prosperity has established himself as one of Buruj’s most promising young talents.

Whether deployed as a left-back or pushed forward as a left winger, he brings energy, tactical awareness, and the ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch.

The contract extension reflects Buruj Sports Academy’s belief in his potential to reach the highest level of the game.

With his development continuing, Prosperity has set his sights on earning a Nigeria National U-15/U-16 call-up. His long-term ambition is to represent the country on the international stage.

The Academy reaffirmed its commitment to support him with quality coaching, academic support, and exposure through tournaments and scouting opportunities.

Everyone at Buruj Sports Academy congratulated Prosperity on the contract extension and wished him continued success in his education and football career.

“Congratulations, Prosperity! The journey continues. Keep working hard — the dream is within reach,” the Academy stated.

Buruj Sports Academy’s Football and Education Programme integrates secondary school learning with professional football training. The model is designed to produce disciplined, educated, and technically sound players ready for club and national team opportunities.

With Prosperity’s extension, Buruj continues to invest in young talents who combine talent with character — on the field and in the classroom.
