The excitement is palpable for the grand finale of the JOF U-13 Football Tournament following the successful advancement of VI Foot Ijora and Fortune Football Academy Oshodi in their semi-final matches held at CMS Primary School, Bariga, Lagos.

VI Foot IJORA clinched their spot in the final with a 3-1 victory over Soccer City FA Iwaya, showcasing their endurance, talent, and strategic approach throughout the match. Meanwhile, in the other semi-final, Fortune FA Oshodi delivered a commanding performance, overwhelming Ultimate FA Coker with a 4-0 scoreline, decisively securing their place in the championship finale.

These outcomes have set the stage for an anticipated final featuring two of the tournament’s finest teams, both of which have captivated audiences with their performances and reliability.

Following the semi-final encounters, Mr. Adeyinka Adetunji, the Managing Director of JOF Nigeria Limited’s Transportation Division and the Chairman of the JOF U-13 Football Tournament Organising Committee, shared his contentment regarding the level of football exhibited by the young competitors and reiterated the company’s dedication to fostering youth development through athletics.

“What we have seen throughout this tournament exemplifies the vast football talent present within our communities. These youthful athletes have shown exceptional skill, discipline, resolve, and sportsmanship. As the excitement intensifies in the lead-up to the decisive finale, organisers have indicated that information regarding the final match and the closing ceremony will be announced at a press conference set for Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at the JOF Nigeria Limited headquarters in Oregun, Lagos State.
