The day kicked off with a lively novelty encounter between Eminent Politicians (Ojodu LCDA APC) and Ojodu LCDA NULGE, a match that ended 3–2 in favour of the Eminent Politicians.
The high point was when the Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, thrilled spectators by scoring the decisive winning goal, sparking early celebrations and setting the perfect tone for the grand finale.
The final match between Ward A and Ward B lived up to every expectation. It was an electrifying contest filled with pace, passion and incredible displays of talent. Ward B took the early initiative, but Ward A responded fiercely, dragging the match into a pulsating 2–2 draw at full time.
With tension thick across the mini stadium, both teams proceeded to a dramatic penalty shootout where Ward B held their nerve and clinched victory, sending their fans into wild jubilation.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku presented ₦500,000 cash prize and the championship trophy to the victorious Ward B team. The gallant runners-up, Ward A, received ₦250,000 cash prize amidst applause for their resilience and sportsmanship with the Council Chairman commending all participants, describing the tournament as a celebration of community spirit, youth talent and unity in Ojodu LCDA.
