The President of OJB Foundation, Hon. Olaide John Bello, OJB, has expressed his strong belief that Lagos State and indeed Nigeria can win the fight against the spread of the dreaded Covid-19 virus.
Hon. OJB said he remains optimistic that in no distant time even as the vaccine to take care of the virus is being expected, that the fight against the virus will yield the desired results.
In his words, “I believe strongly that we can win the fight against Covid-19. Honestly, I must commend the spirited efforts of the Executive Governor of Lagos State and the Incident Commander, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Commissioner of Health, Prof Abayomi and the rest of the Lagos team. They’ve demonstrated genuine commitment and capacity to handle the affairs of the State during this trying period”.
“While they’re doing their best to curb the spread of the virus across the State and beyond, I urge our people to help their efforts by sticking to all the precautionary measures since the virus is moved by people.”
“The Covid-19 pandemic equally provides us an opportunity to look inward as they say ‘necessity is the mother of invention’. Lagos State has invested a lot into the Health Sector and I know that going forward more resources will be directed into the sector for maximum impact in research and care.”
“We’re the Centre of Excellence and I’m very optimistic that we can win the Covid-19 fight if the people would appreciate the efforts of the Government by abiding with the precautionary measures as advised” Hon OJB concluded.

OJB and the likes should be allowed to move more closer to the Government and those at the grassroot. The same way my MHR started. Service to the people.......
